Classic Vodka Tonic

I just don't take very good pictures of drinks. I've come to terms with it. I don't have the great set-up, or lights, or even patience for that matter. I make the drink, I take the picture. It's usually quite a few before I settle on one that's 'good enough' to post, but at least it still looks like the actual drink I make. It's just that there isn't any pretty additions or beautiful sunlight shining down or a choir singing or anything like that. But rest assured, if the drink wasn't delicious, I wouldn't post it.

And when it comes to the classic drinks, there really isn't much to dislike about them. This one is no exception. It actually happens to be my favorite drink. I know I post a lot of coconut-flavored drinks, but this's just...the best. It's so simple, yet so satisfying. So light, yet so refreshing. I've heard many say that it's strange that this is my favorite drink because it's so...old fashioned and I'm too young to like it, but I can't help it. It used to be my mom's favorite (well before I was ever a thought) so I think it was just meant to be. It's just so good! I think I'll be drinking this one for a long time.

Classic Vodka Tonic

1/2 - 1 part vodka (depending on taste)
 2 parts tonic water
 splash of fresh lime juice

Pour vodka and tonic water over ice. Squeeze a little lime juice on top. That's it!
