Tropical Ham Roll-Ups

I have a problem. If I don't make up something new each day, I feel weird. It's to the point where I'll just come up with something on the fly sometimes just so I can blog about it. I know, I's just that I'm a creative person and that creativity has to come out in so many ways! The kitchen is my studio and food is a canvas. Does that even make sense or am I just full of it? Either way, I wanted a snack and I got to thinking...

Growing Up (A Little Too) Fast

We hit a milestone over here last week. My little man started school for the very first time. Granted, it's just preschool, but it's school regardless. I was definitely ready, but at the same time, I'm not ready for my little boy to be big enough for school. I mean, he's still in a carseat for cryin' out loud! How did this happen!? He seems to have grown up way too fast over the past couple months and I don't like it one bit.

Grown Up Grilled Cheese: A Meaty Brie

I had a little fascination with Brie not too long ago. I felt the need to broaden my love for cheese so I thought I'd grab some at the grocery store and make whatever my mind could create. What did I come up with? Grilled cheese, of course! Well, also a quesadilla but that's another story... Anyways, if you've been following my posts, you know that I like to make 'grown up' grilled cheese sandwiches every now and then that aren't part of the normal 'american cheese' variety. It's a little ongoing project of mine...
